Employment Advisor (Mental Health) Permanent NEW

We are seeking a dedicated Employment Advisor to support individuals with mental health support needs in gaining and sustaining employment.

Location: Dartford, Gravesend, and Swanley

Contract: Full-time, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (some flexibility depending on circumstances)

Remote Work/Work From Home: Potential for 1 day a week or a couple of afternoons

Please note that travel/outreach is required: The role is predominantly community-based (approximately 65% of the time), meeting clients in various settings such as cafes, libraries, and other accessible locations within Dartford, Gravesend, and Swanley. The clinical base is at Arndale House in Dartford.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of 20 clients.
• Achieve referral and job outcome targets:
• 8 new referrals per month.
• 5 programme starts per month.
• 1 job outcome at 13 weeks.
• 1 job outcome at 26 weeks.
• Provide tailored support to individuals, assisting them in finding and maintaining employment.
• Work collaboratively with clinical teams, employers, and support networks to facilitate sustainable employment outcomes.

Candidate Requirements:
 

• Must have experience as an Employment Advisor.
• Experience of supporting individuals with mental health support needs is highly desirable.
• A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this role.
